During The Columbian Exchange, ships brought back a large range of items that Europeans, Asians, and Africans had never seen before.

-New types of plants included tomatoes and squash.
-During the trade, potatoes got banned because people thought too frequent use of them could cause leprosy
-Europeans introduced various livestock to the Americas:
These included: Horses, cattle, sheep and pigs.
-Foods from Africa that were introduced to the Americas:
They included: Bananas, black-eyed peas, and yams.
Grains introduced to the Americas included: Wheat, barley, rice, and oats.
Diseases that the Europeans brought with them: Smallpox, influenza, Typhus, measles, malaria, Diphtheria, and the whooping cough.
